Company Background
Back in the mid 90's David Flanders was an owner of a prospering vending company when he found himself constantly asked to provide alternative water solutions for his customers. Concurrently, through Dave's international travels, he found that filtered water was at the forefront of everyone's mind. He saw people that had to think about the quality of their water every single time they touched it, whether it was brushing their teeth, getting ice for their drink or just getting a glass of water. Everywhere he looked, he saw some type of water filtration system to ensure that their water was safe. And so Cooler Waters evolved through the determination of our vending customers to rid themselves of all their bottled water problems and the realization of the importance of filtered water for everyday life.
So, now we had two options to consider: Bottled water or Filtered water? With bottled water, industry research revealed that over 70% of all delivered bottled water is just municipal water that is filtered, bottled and delivered. It was pretty easy to see that bottled water was not the answer we were looking for. We were looking to provide cutting edge technology that could purify your water to the highest standards right at the moment you drink it. Other surprises came from filtered water that really pleased our customers. No longer would they have to deal with the bottle and all the inherent hassles.
Over the next two years, we decided to give our customers the opportunity to try this revolutionary new product. How would they embrace filtered water? Over 99% of our customers that tried our filtration coolers kept them.
Today, Cooler Water serves over 400 businesses -- including famous names like the Queen Mary 2 ocean liner, Trinity College, and Hairclub for Men and Women-- , providing fresh, clean water to over 10,000 people every day.

CW doesn't know a lot of things. He didn't go to college, and the only class he did well at in high school was swimming. But he does know clean water. Growing up was rough, going from water bottle to water bottle, constantly being picked on by the bacteria that gave his neighborhood a stale smell. And the guilt when he saw the faces strain to pick him up and carry him to the dispenser kept him awake at night. Since meeting Dave and John Flanders, CW has chilled a lot.
